How to change Freelancing and Client Mode

GigLovin offers two modes to suit your role on the platform: Freelancing Mode (for those offering services) and Client Mode (for those hiring freelancers). You can easily switch between these modes at any time from your account dashboard.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to switch modes:

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

  • Open the GigLovin app or website.
  • Enter your email/username and password.
  • Click Log In to access your account.

Step 2: Go to Your Dashboard

  • Once logged in, you will be directed to your Dashboard.
  • If not, click on the Dashboard tab from the main menu or navigation panel.

Step 3: Check Your Current Mode

  • At the top of the dashboard, you will see a mode indicator such as:
    • “You are now Freelancer” – means you’re currently using Freelancing Mode.
    • “You are now Client” – means you’re currently using Client Mode.

Step 4: Click the Mode Button

  • Click on the mode message displayed at the top.
  • A confirmation popup will appear.

Step 5: Confirm the Switch

  • In the popup, click on:
    • “Switch to Client” if you want to move from Freelancing Mode to Client Mode.
    • “Switch to Freelancer” if you want to move from Client Mode to Freelancing Mode.

Step 6: Done!

  • The system will update your mode immediately.
  • You will now be redirected to the dashboard that matches your selected mode.

Important Notes

  • You can switch modes at any time—there’s no limit.
  • Make sure to update your profile and settings in each mode as needed.
  • Your gigs and orders are stored separately for each mode.
